‘The Civil Society in the Shadow of the State’

 

Please join the opening conference of the project ’The Civil Society in the Shadow of the State’ (CISTAS) performed by Department of Political Science, University of Copenhagen and Department of Business and Politics, Copenhagen Business School.

The Civil Society in the Shadow of the State (CISTAS) project analyses the Danish civil society, historically, sociologically and politically, raising these questions; what role has civil society had in the development of the modern state and the welfare state? What role do civil society play today and what role will it play in the future?

At the conference main theses and sub projects will be presented.
